A leaked screen test for the upcoming adaptation of Where The Wild Things Are hit the internet this week. The fact that this is a test is bloody awesome, and I can't wait to see what the creatures will look like in a final cut. Its been way too long since I've been able to see through Spike's eyes.

Maddening

So I'm up late last night, waiting for my computer to perform some function that has me plopped on the couch in anticipation, when I come across one of my favorite music videos of all time, Radiohead's "Knives Out." I don't know what it is about this video. The fact that the images or so bizarre, the fact that the song is haunting, or the fact that it appears that michel gondry just recreated one of his nightmares and set it to music. Here's a reminder of the genius of Radiohead and Michel Gondry.

Who's Ready for the Floor!?!?

Even two years is too long to wait for a new album from HOT CHIP. I don't think any other band has made me want to dance more than this group. We have, however, been given small tastes of new material such as, "My Piano," off the DJ KICKS compilation and an early leaking of the new video "Ready for the Floor," off their new album, Made in the Dark. The new album is released this Tuesday, February 4th, but it still seems like torture to wait for what promises to be the dance album of the year, much like their previous releases.
